★ High-Count Fibre Specialists
High-count ribbon splicing for hyperscale and colocation data centres. We fuse an entire 12-fibre ribbon in one cycle, manage fibre identification across hundreds of ribbons and verify every joint by bi-directional OTDR.
12-fibre ribbon prepared for mass fusion splicing — TIA-598 colour sequence.
★ Why Ribbon
Modern data halls run on high-count trunks — 1,728, 3,456 and 6,912 fibres between halls, buildings and campuses. Splicing them one fibre at a time is slow and multiplies the risk of handling damage.
Mass fusion splicing aligns and fuses all 12 fibres of a ribbon together. The result is a dramatically shorter programme, consistent loss across the ribbon and a cleaner, denser splice tray — exactly what hyperscale and colocation builds demand.
Single-fibre splicing joins each core separately. Mass fusion splicing aligns and fuses the full 12-fibre ribbon in one cycle.
How It Works
A ribbon holds 12 fibres bonded side by side in the TIA-598 colour sequence. The ribbon is stripped, cleaned and cleaved as a single unit, then the splicer aligns all 12 fibres and fuses them together.
On a 3,456-fibre cable that means 288 splice cycles instead of 3,456 — with every fibre still traceable to its tube, ribbon and position in your splice records.
Services
From cable preparation to as-built records — the full splicing scope on high-count fibre.
12-fibre ribbon joints for inter-hall, campus and DCI trunk cables, spliced to your loss budget.
Preparation and splicing of rollable / spider-web ribbon used in ultra-high-count, small-diameter cables.
Sheath removal, tube management, ribbon identification and routing to the manufacturer’s specification.
High-density splice closures, optical distribution frames and data hall splice cabinets, neatly dressed.
Pigtails, repairs and mixed infrastructure where ribbon is not used — core-alignment splicing throughout.
Bi-directional OTDR testing of every joint, with results against the agreed budget.

Where We Work
Hyperscale and colocation campuses, data centre interconnects, enterprise backbones and FTTH distribution across London, Slough and the South East.
FAQ
We work to the loss budget in your specification. Every joint is verified by bi-directional OTDR rather than relying on the splicer’s estimate alone, and results are reported against the budget.
Yes. We splice both flat and rollable ribbon and are familiar with the identification and preparation each requires.
Yes. Our engineers work in live colocation and hyperscale environments and follow site permit, access and clean-working procedures.
Splice records, OTDR results (native files and PDF summary) and as-built fibre allocation in your required format.
