★ High-Density Links
Polarity, loss and end-face testing for MPO/MTP trunks, cassettes and harnesses — so 100G, 400G and 800G links come up first time, and faults are found fast when they don’t.
High-density MPO cassettes — every multi-fibre end-face inspected before it is tested.
★ The Problem
MPO connectors make high-density data centres possible — and they are one of the most common causes of failed links. Twelve or twenty-four fibres share one end-face, so a single speck of contamination, a polarity mismatch or excess loss on one lane is enough to stop a parallel-optic link.
We test, inspect and troubleshoot MPO/MTP infrastructure end to end, with the right tools for multi-fibre connectors rather than adapters and guesswork.
Type A trunks keep fibre positions straight through; Type B trunks reverse them. Mixing methods without the right cassettes or patch cords breaks the transmit/receive pairs.
Polarity
Every MPO channel is built from trunks, cassettes or harnesses and patch cords. Each component follows a polarity type, and the combination decides whether transmit lanes arrive at the receive lanes on the far end.
We verify the polarity method across the whole channel — Method A, B or C — and confirm it fibre by fibre, so parallel optics such as SR4 and DR4 links work the moment the optics are plugged in.
Services
Testing, inspection and troubleshooting for multi-fibre infrastructure.
Loss and polarity testing of MPO trunks, cassettes and harnesses with per-lane results.
Automated inspection and cleaning of 8, 12, 16 and 24-fibre end-faces to IEC 61300-3-35.
Method A, B and C confirmed across the channel, fibre by fibre.
Links that won’t come up diagnosed: contamination, polarity, gender or excess loss.
Factory-terminated trunks tested before installation to catch damage in transit.
Contaminated or damaged connectors cleaned or replaced, then retested.
Inspection
IEC 61300-3-35 divides each end-face into zones. Scratches and particles are allowed only within strict limits, and almost none in the core where the light travels.
We inspect every fibre of every MPO end-face with an automated multi-fibre probe before testing. If it fails, we clean and re-inspect it — we never test, or hand over, a dirty connector.
End-face zones used for pass/fail inspection. The core must be essentially defect-free.

FAQ
Yes. Most MPO link failures come down to contamination, polarity or excess loss. We inspect, clean and test the full channel to find the cause, then fix it.
Every connector is inspected before testing. If it fails inspection, we clean and re-inspect it — we never test a dirty connector.
Yes. Testing trunks on arrival catches transit damage before the cable is pulled and dressed in.
Yes — single-mode and multimode, 8, 12, 16 and 24-fibre connectors.
